Blend Data Strategy Australia Pty Ltd ("Blend", "we") handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Details you give us through our forms or by email: name, work email, company, phone, monthly ad spend and your message.
  • Your answers to our free assessments (the Data Maturity Assessment and the AI Ready Data Strategy Scorecard), the business area you chose and the results they produce.
  • Information about how people use the website, collected by Google Analytics, such as pages viewed, type of device and rough location.
  • When we work for you, view-only access to your ad, analytics and sales accounts, used only for the work we've agreed.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, show you your assessment results and follow up about them.
  • To deliver and invoice the work you engage us for.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To send occasional updates, but only if you've ticked the box to say yes. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the business, including Cloudflare (website hosting), Google (analytics) and ActiveCampaign (our contact list and email). Some of these store data outside Australia. We do not sell personal information.

Client data

Information we see while working for a client stays that client's information. We use view-only access wherever we can, keep it only as long as the work needs, and remove our access when the work ends.

Security

We protect information by limiting who can see it, using two-step sign-in and encrypted storage, and regularly reviewing who has access to what.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@blend-datastrategy.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
